About this project

Designed by Sam Zaher of Zaher Architects Byron Bay, this home is located in the picturesque north coast hinterland just minutes from the nearby village of Newrybar.

The modern and elegant design makes full use of the breath-taking views of the rolling hills and backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

Externally the striking combination of dry stack stone walls, granite tiles and rough sawn timber cladding, combine and contrast with the large format white walls.

Passing alongside the white pebble garden complete with Japanese Maple, entry is via a custom-built spotted gum pivot door that seamlessly integrates with full height side glass panels and adjoining rock wall.

Internally attention to detail points of focus are the porcelain bookend panels to the Fireplace, Oak Floorboards and the kitchen’s natural Black Bean timber ceiling complete with a matching custom-made pendant.

Passing through the open plan living / kitchen / dining area there is 250 square meters of out outdoor living. Within this impressive outdoor area is a 13m Pool, Sunbathing Terrace, 3m Spa and a second BBQ Area.
